Angela Andries

We make our home on an acreage in Southwest Minnesota, where life revolves around our three Labs-Archie, Reggie, and Betty-and our five horses. Horses have been a lifelong passion; I got
my first horse at 13, and the rest is history. In 2025, I stepped into the show pen for my first year showing Pinto, adding a new and exciting chapter to the journey. I’m married to my best friend, Reed Andries, and we’ll celebrate 27 years
together this July. When I’m not showing, you’ll usually find me fishing, golfing, playing in my flower garden, or
traveling and making memories along the way.

Ava McIntire

I’ve been showing with the Iowa Pinto Horse Association since 2019 after working my way up through 4-H and open shows. I’m currently a sophomore at South Dakota State University majoring in Agronomy, but Thor, Iowa will always be home to me.

Iowa Pinto has turned into a full family affair as you can usually find my younger sister in the arena showing the horse that started it all for me with IPtHA, CPA Batman Blues. For me, my favorite part of the shows is the people you meet, the laughs shared, the energetic, fun-filled environment, and of course, the amazing horses we get to ride.

Ashlee Crawford

I currently live in Altoona, Iowa. I have been a member of Iowa Pinto since 2023.  I took a step back from showing horses due to starting Nursing School. My graduation date is 2027. I hope to start showing horses again once I graduate. I enjoy helping my fellow exhibitors at shows and I’m excited to be able to help the association grow. I hope to be a welcoming and warm face to new members.

Rob currently resides in Fort Dodge, Iowa and has been a Iowa pinto member for 5 years. He recently retired from his position as a plumber and is excited to serve on the committee.
Rob has been helping with horses for some years now. “I got involved with Iowa Pinto when my daughter began to show horses” said Patterson. When he’s not helping with the horses he spends his time fishing or spending time with his family. Rob has two children and one grandchild.
He says that he looks forward to being a board member and is excited to see the organization grow, while also allowing people to showcase their love for our equine.
